Supply Chain Software Sales - National Automotive Products
Economic conditions are affecting every segment of consumer markets. Purchases in the automobile market have plummeted and consumers are depending more on automotive products to extend the life of the automobiles they own. Branded national products suppliers are seeking ways to gain a competitive advantage for retaining captured customers and gaining new ones through the wholesale channel. Marketing trends in this wholesale space are increasingly targeting customers in wider demographic segments to increase branding and build awareness. They are implementing next generation software applications that pinpoint consumer targets for greater results.
We're launching a "next generation" automotive software package that's guiding the direction of the wholesale channel – sophisticated software that has been designed to be customer oriented, not just one-dimensional operation oriented as the legacy products that exist today. Our software merges marketing, merchandizing, monitoring, and tracking of customer buying trends into a complete program that gains new customers while retaining existing ones, and translates customized reach schedules into loyalty for increased sales. National wholesale giants that have been utilizing basic legacy software applications and have integrated our application are confirming that our software not only manages their infrastructure and product offerings, but also enables them to target and manage customer incentive marketing directly to consumers. Our highly developed technology can include in-the-cloud network servers and doesn’t require physical installation on a customers' system.
Due to our explosive growth we are seeking an energetic National Sales Representative who will work directly with our executive team to grow the domestic market by implementing a sales program to wholesale suppliers nationally that have downstream retailers in place. We pride ourselves on having designed a functional, practical, and effective software application packed with outstanding value and cutting edge design features that meet and exceed our customers’ expectations. We will lead the industry by delivering a functionally innovative product.
Based in Pittsburgh, this position will head up sales and new business development efforts throughout the United States. Direct channel development activity and coordinate sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals.
Responsibilities:

Oversee the sales process from initial contact through implementation

Work closely with executive team to implement sales campaigns

Manage and ensure established customer base is maintained

Supervise all sales efforts in all sales territories

Description
We are technical industrial specialists helping customers through a combination of advanced, innovative building and structural capabilities and "extra effort" services.
We are seeking an Sales Manager whose ambition and creativity will help our sales efforts to evolve and grow. An energized manager with a "sleeves-rolled-up", cooperative approach to our field sales professionals would work well here. Management experience setting and attaining sales goals in a collaborative environment, and the ability to work with both new and tenured staff members from a wide variety of backgrounds is what is needed.
Experience calling on accounts at the "C" level and a hunter mentality with passion and assertiveness will do well in this position. Analytical skills and experience selling complex tangible items are required. Having the ability to blend the energy of a sprinter (to hit the ground running for immediate impact) with the stamina of a distance runner best describes this position. Approximately 45-50% overnight travel will be required.
