We are seeking a Dedicated Product Marketing Manager (DPMM) to be part of a team of business-focused individuals who aspire to excellence. The DPMM will be responsible for working with our Sales and Marketing Team to develop, coordinate, and implement the 2010 Sales and Marketing Initiative for one of our Fortune 500 manufacturers, and will publish and manage the schedule of deliverables for all of this client's sales and marketing activities.
The DPMM will develop targeted direct mail marketing programs and develop and implement national sales promotions providing reporting on a monthly and quarterly basis for all sales and marketing programs, and to review progress and identify areas for improving effectiveness. The DPMM will report to the Director of Marketing Programs and Communications.
Responsibilities of this position will be to develop a "calendar" of sales and marketing activities for MRO Product Divisions, to ensure that scheduled programs are completed on time and within budget, and to analyze customer sales data to identify opportunities to drive sales growth utilizing direct mail marketing.
This position is very exciting, very involved and very rewarding. The Dedicated Product Marketing Manager will coordinate the development of various sales and marketing programs with key contacts in each product division.Various other functions will be:

Maintain Homepage outlining our sales and marketing activities on our
Intranet
website

Ceate Newsletters
*
Support the specific sales and marketing needs of Operating Groups and
Product Divisions at a national, regional, and local level

Assit in coordinating product training programs - Internet-based
training
and Branch-based “Lunch & Learn" training programs
*
Visits to key vendor Training Centers
*
Coordinate the implementation and communication of sales promotions
*
Establish special pricing and inventory with Supplier Relations in
support
of major sales and marketing programs
**FOR CANDIDATES FROM OUTSIDE OF THE PITTSBURGH AREA, A MINIMAL RELOCATION PACKAGE IS AVAILABLE.
Requirements
*
Understanding of and experience with Product Management, Category
Management,
and Field Marketing.
*
Experience as a Market Segment Manager (Category Ownership)
*
Bachelors Degree in Marketing. An MBA is preferred.
*
3-5 years of Project Management, Field Marketing, Product Marketing and
Data Analysis experience
*
Experience working in a large company environment (i.e. Fortune 500)
where
Executive interaction is required
*
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, and be accustomed to
meeting
deadlines in a multi-tasking environment
*
Experience with CRMs, list management, and customer databases will also
be required
*
A portfolio showing ad's, brochures, writing samples, etc.
