Managing Price Risks in Today's Volatile Markets
Fuel price volatility and its potential to significantly impact the bottom line of many companies has clearly demonstrated the need for managing costs. Geo-political instability, weather, and industry consolidation are just a few of the many influences that can and often do create price swings which affect budget.
Our customers overall financial performance may hinge on the execution of a simple fixed price or a complex multi-state NYMEX hedge with options to cap or collar their fuel cost. NYMEX futures and fixed price wet barrel deals are part of all the price risk management and budgeting strategies utilized by our sales professionals to aid our customers. We help them lock in pricing and control price risk exposure by customizing a complete fuel supply or logistics management solution. We'll help get fuel to the right place, at the right time.
We provide complete fuel management services to commercial customers in major industries including mining, utilities, power generation, construction, and container and bulk material carriers. We have the people, systems, and expertise to evaluate total costs associated with fuel to ensure cost containment and affordability as fuel costs fluctuate.
We are seeking a Key Account Manager for location in Pittsburgh, PA. The Key Account Sales Manager will be responsible for planning and executing a sales strategy to develop new business from the largest commercial / industrial users in the region and markets described. The position requires strong consultative sales skills, the ability to develop and negotiate comprehensive management programs, champion a cross-functional sales effort and the ability to lead Director through C-level decision makers through a complex sales cycle.
Manage a Complex and Technical Sales Process
This is a longer-term sales cycle and requires a professional and self-confident, more analytical and "less emotional" Account Manager. This Account Manager will present to larger more sophistocated accounts and will have the opportunity to make a large impact.
